Indian Government to Bring Solar Lighting to Every Home by 2019

New Delhi-India New Government Led by Narendra Modi Plan to harness solar power to enable every home should get light,at least one bulb by 2019.

About 400million people in india lack access to  electricity more than total population of U.S & Cannada.
.The outgoing government led by Mr.Expanding clean power generation will be the administration’s top energy-related priority, especially solar because it has the potential to create jobs and supply millions of scattered households not connected to the grid, he said.
The five-year goal will require the cooperation of state-level administrations with which the central government shares control over the power industry, Taneja said. If successful, solar panels could allow every home to have enough power to run two bulbs, a solar cooker and a television, he said.

Renewable Energy Industry is happy over BJP Victory,& Rambans Energy Systems Expecting More Revolution in this sector.

Renewable Energy Industry is happy over BJP Victory,&Rambans Energy Systems  Expecting More Revolution in this sector.

The renewable energy in India is pretty kicked up over BJP government as it feels that Narendra Modi knows the industry very well.

As  chief minister of Gujarat ,Narendra Modi saw the creation of 900 MW of solar power capacity in state,
which is more that a third of total capacity in the entire country.
In the recent years Wind Energy is also growing up in Gujarat at fast pace.So we can see how renewable energy is replacing importance of fossil fuel.& renewable energy is booming sector where on can invest to support india & reduce carbon footprints & get good return.

Another Modi-initiative in Gujarat was the ‘rent-your-roof’ concept, where households rent their roofs for companies like SunEdison to put up solar projects.

India today has a little over 2,630 MW of solar and about 20,000 MW of Wind Energy  capacity. The growth in both these major segments of the renewable energy industry, though creditable, has been far below potential. As much as 2,146 MW of wind and 948 MW of solar capacity were added in 2013-14, but experts say that lot more is possible in this sector for the growth of the country & to develop more job opportunities in India
